Overview

I meet people at what may be the lowest points in their lives and work with them through challenging and emotional processes to achieve the best possible outcomes for them and their families.

As a seasoned New York litigator with wide-ranging experience at the trial and appellate levels, I have successfully represented thousands of individuals and entities in often financially complicated civil and commercial matters, with a particular focus on family law and civil litigation. I am engaged in areas such as business litigation, estate proceedings and family law matters including both high and modest asset divorce, child custody, child support, divorce mediation, distribution of marital assets, spousal maintenance (alimony), and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

While these issues may seem overwhelming at first, I help to make it less so. I provide my clients with the utmost attention and thoughtful advice and I fervently advocate on their behalf as I guide them through the often complex legal process in the New York metropolitan area.

When I am not advising, mediating and litigating matters that have resulted in numerous published legal decisions, I regularly serve as a judge for moot court competitions held at Fordham University School of Law, my alma mater. I also lecture on family law matters before professional groups.

I think creatively to reach out of-the-box solutions, often utilizing mediation and alternate dispute resolution, in addition to traditional litigation. This ensures that my clients achieve the best outcomes in even the most difficult cases. I hope you too will trust me to work with and advocate for you.
