Cryptocurrency in Divorce
I’ve been a divorce attorney for over 35 years, and every now and then, something comes along that makes me think, “Wow, what the heck is that? And how are we going to handle this in the context of divorce?” Lately, that’s been cryptocurrency. Have you heard of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, or NFTs (non-fungible tokens)? What even are these things? And once we understand them, how do we figure out what to do with them in a divorce? How do we even find them?
I’ve been asking myself these questions, which is why I’ve put together a webinar for anyone going through a divorce who thinks they may have cryptocurrency or NFTs—or for any professional who might be working with divorcing clients who hold these assets. This webinar is for you. And I’m not doing it alone—I’ll be joined by forensic accountant Katrina Grable and attorney Tom Petrelli, a true expert in this field based in Philadelphia.
