What People Stress Most in Divorce

When people face divorce, there are usually two things that really worry them.

The first is what to do with all the emotion — the kind that washes over you, wakes you up in the middle of the night, refuses to let you sleep. The kind that gives you panic attacks after you drop the kids off at school. Those emotions can be really hard to deal with.

The second is figuring out a strategy to achieve the best possible outcome.

But what if you could actually use those emotions to craft a strategy that leads you to a better place — instead of constantly worrying or trying to shove them down so you can focus on something more practical, like the numbers?

I’m Katherine Miller, and I’ve been a divorce attorney in New York City, New York State, and Connecticut for over 30 years. I’m currently writing a book called The Emotionally Savvy Divorce, which offers tips and strategies on how to use your feelings to uncover what’s really going on and to plan for the best result.
